RESET Forum 2026 Recap

RESET Forum 2026 Recap

On October 1st, about 300 of us packed into the SO/ Bangkok Ballroom to talk about hormones, ovulation, perimenopause, and pelvic floors. Not a bad way to spend a Thursday.

The room was full of women (and plenty of men who showed up to learn) who wanted to understand their bodies a little better. And we got to do it with Dr. Lara Briden, the author of Period Repair Manual and Hormone Repair Manual, who has spent nearly 30 years in women’s health.

Understanding Hormones and Ovulation with Dr. Lara Briden

Dr. Lara Briden’s keynote, “Women’s Longevity: The Hidden Role of Ovulation & Hormones,” might have been the first time ovulation got the spotlight it deserves in front of a crowd this size in Thailand. We loved that. She asked us to imagine that female physiology is the default, not the quirky variant, and to stop treating every signal our bodies send as something to fix. Her line that stuck with us:

"You're not broken, and you're not as bad as the algorithm makes you think." — Dr. Lara Briden

A gentle reminder to question the overwhelming amount of health information we encounter online, seek reliable knowledge, and learn to listen to our own bodies.

Another meaningful conversation took place during the panel discussion, "Perimenopause 101: What Every Woman Should Know.” The panel was moderated by Cindy Sirinya Bishop, with Dr. Shermaine Sim, Tammie Tsang N.C., and Rasee Govindani covering nutrition, mental health, and hormonal changes. The takeaway was reassuring: this transition is a natural part of life, and with good information and support, it feels a lot less scary.

Self-Care Is About More Than Just Knowledge

Beyond the talks and panel discussions, RESET Forum 2026 also created opportunities for attendees to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience different approaches to well-being.

The "Reset Ritual," led by Kamonwan Thasanon, invited participants to pause, reflect, and set personal intentions through a calming sound bath experience.

This was followed by a movement session led by Anna Downs, who guided participants through gentle movements and had the whole ballroom connecting with their pelvic floors to sensual retro tunes. Talking about vaginal health on stage, in a society that tends to whisper about it, was a little revolutionary, and very fun to watch.

The event also offered time for networking, allowing attendees to connect with speakers, healthcare professionals, and others who share an interest in women's health. It was a chance to exchange experiences, ask questions, and continue conversations in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We loved the diversity of the attendees, people of all races, genders, and ages coming together to talk about women’s health.

Vira Sharing Moments of Self-Care Through Cycle Syncing Tea

Of course, we were there too! Our Vira booth was serving Cycle Syncing Tea, and nothing makes us happier than a conversation about cycles that starts over a warm cup. Everyone left with a full cup and a few new ideas.

Because we believe that self-care can begin with the smallest everyday moments and a little more understanding of our own bodies.

Empowering Young Girls Through the Period Power Project

And the best part: the day raised THB 800,000 for our Period Power Project, which brings menstrual health education and period products to girls across Thailand. Nobody should feel ashamed or held back because of their period, and this gets us closer.

Huge thanks to Praram 9 Hospital, Australia Council Thailand, BTL, Immune Medical Wellness, ALYA, and Asia Books for making it happen.

RESET Forum returns in June 2027. We’ll be there, and we hope you will too!
